Knoxville Courthouse Elopement Photographer: Bonnie & Andrew's Mini Elopement Package Day
Some of my favorite weddings to photograph are the ones that skip the guest list entirely. Bonnie and Andrew said "I do" at the Knox County Courthouse in downtown Knoxville, and their day is exactly what inspired me to put together something I'm calling the Mini Elopement Package: a simple, low-stress way to make a courthouse "yes" feel like a full wedding day, without the full wedding day price tag or planning.
Bonnie and Andrew's style was so much fun to photograph: Bonnie in a tea-length white dress with a fuzzy cropped jacket and dark teal strappy heels, holding a bouquet of rust, blush, and greenery tones, and Andrew in a charcoal suit with a navy sweater vest underneath for a little unexpected color. There's a vintage, almost old-Hollywood charm to the whole look that matched the black-and-white checkered tile and brick archways around the courthouse perfectly. The two of them genuinely loved just walking around downtown together — no rush, no itinerary stress, just two people happy to be married and wandering the city.

Grab a celebratory coffee at Coffee and Chocolate. This downtown Knoxville shop is full of charm, think cozy seating, hand-painted chocolates, and a perfect excuse for a quiet, just-married moment together.
Snap a photo under the Tennessee Theatre sign. The marquee is one of the most iconic backdrops in downtown Knoxville and an instant, unmistakably-Knoxville shot for your wedding gallery.
Sneak off for cocktails at The Vault, plus a quick flash session. Tucked into the basement of a historic downtown bank, The Vault has old-Hollywood glamour built right into the walls: dim lighting, plush seating, and a completely different mood than anything we'll shoot outside. A few flash photos in here feel editorial in the best way.
Stay the night at The Oliver Hotel, with dinner waiting at Oliver Royale. This boutique hotel in an 1876 building sits right on Market Square, and Oliver Royale's seasonal menu makes for the kind of wedding-night dinner that feels like a proper celebration, even if it's just the two of you.
And if you want to have even more fun with it: picture playful photos with a vintage luggage cart from the hotel, or a few shots tucked into one of the historic hotel elevators. A mini elopement doesn't mean a boring one.
